I especially like the turn-around chairs. NBC bought the rights from the The Voice of Holland to do this show in the U.S. & the format is very similar to Simon Cowell's X-FACTOR which premieres later this year on FOX. The only major differences are the chairs & that there are no categories (groups, females, males, etc.) on The VOICE.

I find the chopped up nature of the show very troubling. I can't even name the remaining contestants as they are only on every 2-3 weeks. They also seem more interested in promoting the coaches than the contestants. I also don't see as much talent as on last years program. This was a good concept that they have found a way to ruin.

They are going to drag this out for 2 hours to shoe us 6 battles?? Cut all the practice shots and background crap and do more of the competition. I found it very interesting that AI winner Kelly Clarkson was a coach. Seems like an in your face move by The Voice.

It's much better than American Idol. You still need to ff thru certain parts but this show feels more relevant and I like the judges on this show more. Christina is starting to look like her old self but still has to drop some more weight to get back to normal. Some of the talent is real good & I noticed the judges are getting more vocal in trying to sway the contestants to join their team.

Judging solely on the Voice, Javier just has such a pure voice, while Dia has a very unique sound and style. I think all 4 of the semi-finalists were very talented and will all have some future success in the business.

I watched the semi-finals results show online & I wasn't paying full attention when Carson said something like you've been away from your boyfriend Robert for 8 or 9 weeks & then they showed him in the audience & I thought he looks like a loser but he's doing pretty good to have a girlfriend as hot as Vicci. Then I found out he's Nakia's boyfriend & then things kinda fell into place.

I got more goosebumps from these singers in the final 8 than during the whole AI season this year. Just really good performances across the board. I like all of the final four. Javier just has an amazing voice. Vicci can really bring the power. Dia has a very great sound and look, ethereal style. Beverley just rocks it every time and seems really cool.

Never thought Beverley would get the votes she did. Was really surprised that Xenia was chosen by Blake. He must not have wanted to help another male country singer for some reason. One thing I like about this show, is they've been singing mostly relevant songs, aside from the dreadful duo of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. They should add how many Itunes downloads for the live songs to the scoring system.

They should take the 4 with the lowest votes & eliminate them even if they're all on the same team. That 16 year old on Christina's team is better than anybody from this years Idol. I wonder if they'll be some wildcards? Let's face it some of the match-ups were wrong. Singers that should have made it went home & on the bad match-ups, one person made it when both should have been cut.
