I've noticed on the "Recent Winners" page, there's a gap between February 13th and 27th (approximately two weeks) where no names have come up as winners of the weekly prize. I was curious to know if something had gone wrong with those two prize drawings?

How about we only have on topic on the same subject?

What idea are you talking about? I thought insightcruzer asked a question, "how many tickets do people typically buy per week?" That doesn't seem like an idea to me.

How about increasing the prizes to 3 a week, $100.00 each ?????

Instead of 52 yearly winners, have 156 happy people instead ????

More chances weekly...More interest from the posters !!!

This topic should be closed as this same discussion is already going on here.

Never seen a period of time like this where they have not picked a winner.

Not related to the February gap, but just as an example of a short delay:

I was lucky enough to be selected as a winner March 7, six days ago -- but as a busy, single working mom -- it took until yesterday to get my teenage daughter to take my picture and upload it to my PC so I could forward this to GasBuddy. I literally had no other way to submit a photo of me holding the gas cards until she had the time to help me.
So now the photo has been forwarded to GasBuddy, so it should be there today or tomorrow.

Sometimes there are unforeseen delays....It happens.

Perhaps what's needed is a pop-up that appears each and every time you "buy" tickets that notes that "Drawing results are not announced until after the winner has responded to the Gas Buddy notification of his/her winning the gas card. Results may be delayed several weeks if winners do not respond in a timely manner."

And perhaps the above should be included in the Prize Give-Away box on the home page, in order to preclude this question being repeatedly asked.

This topic is already being discussed here.

These topics also point out why this easily implemented idea should actually be acted upon. Instead, I suspect the mods will choose to pursue the fools errand of "fixing newsville".
